The location of the hotel was magnificent - a 10-15 minute walk from an expansive public park. I went to a good restaurant and appreciated the local dishes.

Had reasonably spacious room, enjoyable breakfasts, you guys rock!

The room we had included a safe box, multi-channel television, and a mini-fridge-bar. The views of the bay were good! Our location was marvellous to a lovely litttle cafe.

Lovely and magnificent location interested in visiting the area, in the very quiet area. Absolutely superb breakfast with muffins, daily backed bread and pastries, AMAZING FRIENDLY staff.

We were pleased with the well-decorated room, the comfortable bed with electric blankets, and the relaxation in the good bathroom.

Chilled-out vibes all around. the room is spacious with a nice breeze and has killer bay views. You've got an electric kettle and a fridge in the kitchen - perfect for a quick snack or a cup of tea ☕.

I chose Mermaid Guest House for its convenient location near the beach. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the featured amenities, such as the free English breakfast, roundtrip airport shuttle, and the property's terrace and shared lounge. It was a delightful addition to my stay.

The value for money at this guest house was excellent! The room was spacious with a beautiful view and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Menu for breakfast could be improved with a wider selection of bread, like plain white or brown bread for toasting.

The service at Mermaid Guest House was exceptional. I had a toddler with me and they provided a comfortable cot with lovely bedding and a cuddly toy. The rooms were clean, bright, and had excellent air conditioning. The breakfast was delicious with a wide selection of options. The staff were friendly, courteous, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The pool was a great addition, and having washing lines for our wet clothes was convenient. I will definitely be returning to Mermaid Guest House in the future. highly recommended.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was perfect, as it was situated near the beautiful Cape and just a short distance away from a glorious beach. Not only was the hotel close to these landmarks, but it was also in a quiet neighborhood, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

This charming accommodation is ideally located close to the beach, restaurants, and even the Cape itself. Rooms are clean, fresh, and bright, with large picture windows offering distant views of the sea. Breakfast is amazing, with an excellent selection of everything you can imagine, including local visitors like the little wagtails. Staff are friendly and more than helpful, with plenty of local information and advice.

Rooms are small, and some might find the en suite shower room a bit on the small side.

Nothing it is perfect.

We spent a lovely Christmas vacation at a guesthouse by the sea. The breakfast was delicious and filling, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We especially liked the central location, making it easy to walk to the beach and enjoy the views. Plus, having free wifi was a great bonus.

We did have some issues during our stay. We noticed a moldy smell in the hallway, which was unpleasant.
